“Camila Hunck”   Chapter 1

Camila Hunck is the pilot of a chapter saga; a puzzle in which its different protagonists intersect casually and punctually. Up to 5 chapters that the viewer builds as the TV series progresses.

SYNOPSIS

Camila, a child liaison of the post-war Maqui resistance (1950), cohabits with the “souls” of the Neanderthal resistance pocket in the “cave of the escapees.”

Camila Hunck, although she may seem like a first and last name, is really the sum of two characters. Camila (11-year-old teenager) connects maqui and her alter ego, the young Neanderthal Hunck.

​

A maqui wounded in an ambush arrives at the “Cueva de los Fugados”. Camila and the Neanderthal “animes” in the cave will be in charge of their care and protection, putting their own lives and those of their loved ones at risk. The grandfather, the teacher, the repressive agents... are some of the characters that structure the narrative. All of this set in post-war rural society, subjected to fear, persecution and death.

The “Cave of the Fugaos”, in which the souls (animes) of its first inhabitants, also escaped Neanderthals, are also hidden, becomes a dream enclave in which two worlds converge that fight for survival towards a tragic outcome.
